Yeni Cinema was a monthly cinema magazine published in Turkey between 1966 and 1970. Among the authors of the journal were Ali Gevgilili, Tuncan Okan, Sungu Capan, Cevat Capan, Abidin Dino, Sezer Tansuğ, Engin Ayça, Onat Kutlar, Giovanni Scognamillo, Jak Şalom, Atilla Dorsay and Agah Özgüç.

Founded in 1965 in Istanbul under the direction of Onat Kutlar, the " Türk Sinematek Derneği'/Turkish Cinematheque Association", or the Cinematheque for short, launched its own publication, "Yeni Sinema", on March 1, 1966, one year after it became operational. The magazine was sold both in dealers and bookstores and could be obtained through subscription. Moreover, in the first years, it was possible to reach the magazine in the foyer of the Kervan cinema in Bomonti, operated by the Turkish Cinematheque Association.

While the magazine, which is the publication organ of the Turkish Cinematheque Association, was published monthly, it continued to be published sometimes every 3 months or sometimes two issues together, and 30 issues were published within 5 years. After a 10-year hiatus, the 31st issue of April/May was published in 1980, and the 32nd issue was published in August 1980, and the magazine was closed forever.

On February 5, 1970, 4 months before the "Yeni Cinema" magazine was closed, the Turkish Cinematheque Association launched a second, smaller publication called Film 70. This small 18-page monthly magazine was also published until 1972, but its name was changed every year, becoming Filim 71 and then Filim 72.

Previously, the magazine, which was planned to be published monthly, was printed in black and white on 20x27cm, 42 pages and 2nd pulp paper. In some special issues, the number of pages could double or triple. Although it has the phrase 'published once a month' in its tagline for 29 issues, it has not been published every month. Sometimes it was published quarterly, while some numbers had two or three numbers on them (such as issue 19/20). The 28/29th issue of the magazine, whose price remained 4 TL for almost the entire publication period, was 7.5 TL, and the 30th and last issue, which was dated 1 June 1970 with 130 pages, was 12 TL. Some special editions were priced differently.

In addition, together with the magazine, the monthly show programs of the "Cinematek Association" were given to the readers with their detailed explanations (insert). The fact that these 8 (sometimes 4) page booklets are also given a page order gives the impression that they were also designed to be collected and bound.

After the statement "It is published once a month as the organ of Sinematek" in the tag of the magazine, it is stated that the owner is Şakir Eczacıbaşı on behalf of the cinematek and Hüseyin Hacıbaşıoğlu is the editor-in-chief. It is written that Onat Kutlar, Hüseyin Baş, Giovanni Scognamillo and Jak Şalom are on the editorial board.
