Özer Kiziltan (b. April 17, 1963, Istanbul - d. May 05, 2020, Istanbul)
Takva: A Man's Fear of God (Turkish: Takva) is a 2006 Turkish film directed by Özer Kızıltan.
He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1994. While at school, he took theoretical and practical lessons from masters such as Lütfi Akad, Duygu Sağıroğlu, İlhan Arakon, Sami Şekeroğlu. In 2005, he made his first feature film "Takva". He won many awards with this movie.
Director Özer Kızıltan said that the movie movie script that affected him the most after "Takva" was "Forget Me Not" in 2011.
He is a director, known for Takva: A Man's Fear of God (2006), Sehrin Melekleri (2015) and Askin 5 Hali (2016) and has also directed TV films such as Gülbeyaz, Bullet Wound, Wounded Heart, and Life Gravity.
