Married as a young boy years ago, Hasan resides in a rural village working as a shepherd. When he learns of his father’s illness, he travels to Istanbul to care of his family and begins to work as a taxi driver for a living. He discovers a new man within himself as he goes on with his life in the big city, Istanbul.
[1] Cansel Elcin was born on September 20, 1971 in Tire, Izmir, Turkey. He is an actor and director, known for Remember Darling (2006), 120 (2008) and Küçük kiyamet (2006). He has been married to Pinar Apaydin since July 4, 2012. His family moved to France when he was 9 years old. Studied at the École Florent in Paris, France. French citizen. He has grown up trilingually (French, English, Turkish). Member of the jury at the 44th Antalya Golden Orange International Short Film Festival in 2007. Won the 'Best Male TV Actor Award' at the Communation Awards in 2008 for his role in "Hatirla Sevgili" (2006). The award is voted by students of the Beykent University's Faculty of Communations (Istanbul, Turkey). Wrote and directed his first short film called "Papillon" in 2003, which was shown at several film festivals.
