Results of the Research on Accidents at Work and Work-Related Health Problems, 2013
“The Research on Accidents at Work and Work-related Health Problems” which was applied for the first time in 2007, was conducted together with Household Labour Force Survey in the period of April, May and June 2013 as the second time in Turkey. The results of the survey give information whether persons who employed during the survey reference week or had been employed within last 12 months encountered any accident at work or persons who are working or have worked previously, suffered from work-related health problems within the last 12 months.
The rate of persons worked in the last 12 months encountered an accident at work was realized as 2.3%
2.3% of persons who employed in the last 12 months had an accident at work in Turkey. This rate was realized as 2.8% for male, and 1.3% for female. 81.6% of persons encountered an accident at work consist of male.
